I’m having a great EID (Eid-ul-adha) so far. In fact, this EID is being one of the best Eid of my whole life. This year I decided to spend my Eid day with my village people. Have to mention, my village is located in Sunamganj District which is a real rural place, no electricity, no gas and no good communication system and I guess my village represent the Bangladeshi villages as almost all Bangladeshi villages are like this one.
Spent 2 days in my village, not only the Eid was my target but also wanted to be with these people and wanted to see how they spend their daily life. It’s nothing new to me but this was something for me to realize on a new way. From my current and previous experience with village people,I have noticed some interesting informations about village life in Bangladesh, if you are not familiar with these you can have a look…
- Their one generation lose everything (i.e. wealth, property etc..) and next generation comes and tries to re-build it, and the next generation comes and they do the same mistake again. This is how the cycle works there. Why people make the same mistake? Because, they work just because they have to, they have to get rice to eat, this is the reason why they move their asses, otherwise they would love to sleep at home! They have to give their sister marry, this is why they have to earn and save some money.
- Middle east is the place for village people to be rich. This is where from most of the BIG income come for village people. Those who have someone in UK/USA are known as most unique and most rich people in the village!
- Those who have money, will never save it in the bank, they will buy lands! Land is the main delicious and most important stuff for village people.
- 99% people sleep before 10pm and wake up before 6am!
- 95% families have hens and ducks
- Middle class family have cows
- There are too much grouping in village people, mainly for lands and they mainly fight for land.
- I just feel they don’t have proper/accurate idea about religion.
- They love to talk loudly, but except mouth word there is no sound pollution!
- They respect educated people.
- They like to show up (I.e. spreading all over what they have he he)
- They complain very less!
- Their desire is too less. Most of them don’t even have any desire.
- They love their guest.
- They eat real fresh food!
- Village people don’t need any physical exercise, as they do physical work everyday!
- Solar Electricity is getting popular among Bangladeshi village people
- They do a lots of comments while watching TV
- Village women are very neglected, they are very caring about their husband but they don’t receive the same care from their husband!
- They live very simple life and above all, I love village people!
do you have experience with any Bangladeshi village? Please share with me….
